ReSprout is a gardening education company that helps new and advanced gardeners alike “Garden Like a Boss”. Our mission is to get a food garden in every home in the world and help make gardens easier to maintain, more productive and more beautiful.

We are a small all-remote team that values excellence, laughter, soil health, good food, nerdiness, and inspiring others. If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to join us!

Responsibilities

• Creating long-form YouTube videos 3-20 minutes in length on a weekly to biweekly basis
• Creating YouTube shorts
• Creating Instagram reels
• Creating TikTok videos
• Creating Facebook videos
• Creating product tutorial videos
• Creating videos for online courses
• Staying up to date with video editing trends on all platforms
• Identifying vegetable and fruit plants in footage
• Hand-editing and producing SRT files for closed captioning
• Managing an extensive B-roll catalog via Kyno
• Stabilizing footage using Sony Catalyst
• Locating and acquiring stock music, photos, and video
• Crediting music, photo, and video creators as required
• Creating screen recordings
• Collaborating on scripts and shot lists via Google Docs
• Attending a weekly/biweekly Zoom team meeting
• Generating video ideas based on existing footage
• Advising on film technique and equipment
• Advising on video editing workflow
• Uploading video content to YouTube and social media platforms
• Meeting deadlines
• Communicating promptly with team members via Monday.com

The ideal candidate would also have the following responsibilities:

• Filming B-roll of plants and your garden (credited and paid)
• Creating 3D animations in Blender or SketchUp
• Writing shot lists
• Designing video thumbnails via InDesign or Photoshop
• Creating static images from footage for blogs and social media

Compensation

• Please submit a video flat rate in the application below
• Paid monthly via ACH
• Bonuses for hitting performance targets
• Monthly continuing education credit after 3 months

Additional opportunities, if qualified, for:

• Video editing for one-off projects with our parent company Zubko Media
• Filming B-roll of plants and your garden
• On-site filming, if local to Long Island or NYC
• Graphic design and web design projects
